Itinerary of Salkantay Trek 4 days / 3 nights

Cusco -Mollepata – Soraypampa - Wayrapata

We will initiate the tour pincking up you in your hotel in Cusco between 04:00 to 04:30 am approximately, for to take course towards the north-western part of the city, passing for villages like Poroy, Limatambo and Mollepata (place where we can realize some buys) and Soraypampa, from this people we will initiate the walk of approximately 3 hours and a half approximately in ascent up to the Pass of Salkantay.

Wayrapata – La Playa

We will initiate the second day of the tour much early with a delightful breakfast in Wayrapata where you will be able already to see the flora diversity proper of the Peruvian forest. After having breakfast and after enlisting we will initiate the walk in descent happening for the towns of Arrayanpata, Chaullay and Collpampa.

Our walk will continue up to Winaypujio where we will have lunch and rest for one hour approximately before continuing up to the called sector “La Playa” place where we will have dinner and camp.

La Playa – Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes

We will initiate the third day of our adventure to 05:00 am walking in approximately 10 minutes to tackle the transport towards the town of Santa Teresa where we will enjoy a delightful breakfast.

After having breakfast we will continue on foot towards Hydroelectrics happening for a suspension bridge and in the way we will be able to appreciate some artificial cataracts. After three hours of walk to the way approximately we will be having lunch and then to continue up to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes) where we will sleep in a basic hostel.

This night it will be coordinated in the dinner, the meeting point and the hour in the citadel of Machu Picchu for the holding a permit one the morning of the following day.

Machu Picchu - Cusco

The breakfast will be in the accommodation before 05:30 am. If you do not want to buy the ticket of bus of ascent you can walk up to the citadel where our professional guide will be waiting with the one whom we will deposit once the group is assembled.

After the respective record in the door of revenue of Machu Picchu, we will initiate the tour guided for two hours approximately. After the holding a permit one you will have free time to visit the citadel for proper account.
