Sacred Valley Of The Incas
The Sacred Valley of the Incas has a special climate and it is because of this that their lands produce the best grain of corn in Peru.
It has beautiful colonial towns such as: Pisac and its artisan market, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo with its Inca people alive and finally Chinchero which also has a craft market as well as Pisac and where the famous barter or 'exchange of products' is still made.
Itinerary of Sacred Valley Of The Incas
We will pick you up from the hotel in our tourist transport at 08:00 hrs to start our journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the tour we will make a stop to have an impressive view of the Vilcanota River that meanders through crop tapestry.
We will continue until arrive at the Archaeological complex of Pisac, one of the important centers that also guarded the Capital of Empire.
While ascending we will be able to observe the spectacular andenerías that owns this place. Pisac is conformed by diverse districts, those that distinguish are those of Qanturaquay, Intihuatana or Solar Clock and Tanqanamarka. After visiting the archaeological site we will go to the colorful market of Pisac, where we will have free time to interact with the villagers and artisans, and buy some souvenirs.
Continuing with the trip, we will stop in Urubamba to enjoy lunch in one of the local restaurants. Later we will visit the Archaeological Complex of Ollantaytambo, known as the 'Inca Living Village', this place welcomes us with the mystery that surrounds in the intact houses in which it does not seem to have passed the time, incas terraces, and reservoirs of food. Also it emphasizes the monoliths of pink granite elaborated with impressive perfection.
To conclude this tour we will go to the village of Chinchero, where we will have an explanation about this archaeological complex.
We will be back in the city of Cusco approximately at 7:00 p.m.
