Every first Saturday of February, Peruvians give tribute to their banner cocktail, during Pisco Sour Day.
The city of Nazca has been building up to its anniversary this week, but we’ve still got a few days left of concerts, fireworks, food fairs, and parade as we work our way towards the main day of festivities this Saturday. Here’s the official schedule:
So far, we’ve already talked about unexpected, fun ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Cusco, but we’ve compiled another list for those of you who plan to spend the day in Peru’s capital city. And since Valentine’s Day in Peru is also considered Friendship Day, Día de los Amigos, you don’t have to feel left out if your traveling companion isn’t your romantic partner.
If you’re spending New Year’s Eve in Cusco, then we hope you’ll spend it with us at our Golden New Year’s Eve party! It’s our largest annual event, with lots of music, drink, and dancing. Whether you’re a guest in any of our Cusco hostels, or just a traveler or friend looking for some fun, you’re invited to Pirwa Colonial Hostel on Thursday, December 31st to ring in the new year.
